A thick maple cookie bar is folded with homemade cinnamon coffee cake and baked until the white chocolate caramelizes around the edges, creating a crispy, crunchy, buttery crust around a soft, dense center.
Loaded with white chocolate chips, semisweet chocolate chips, chocolate cornflake clusters, Cinnamon Bun Oreos, Double Stuf Vanilla Oreos, and praline pecans, with pockets of baked almond icing throughout for a sweet, crumbly, coffee-cake-style bite.
Finished with a sweet glaze and cinnamon sugar.
Soft and cakey. Dense and chewy. Crispy and caramelized around the edges. Basically, coffee cake and a ridiculously loaded cookie bar had one very thick baby.
